Weekly Timesheet Reminder

All students must record hours worked in Workday so they may be paid on time. For auditing purposes, it is important that you complete your timecard accurately and in a timely manner. Reminder, that you cannot begin working until you receive an email from Pitzer Human Resources indicating that your paperwork has been processed.

Getting Paid

Timecards

Students are required to enter hours worked after every shift and approve their timecard at the end of each pay period (every other Friday by 5pm).

  • Pitzer’s workweek is Saturday through Friday, and the pay period is two weeks in length.
  • Actual hours worked must be recorded, not scheduled hours.
  • Advance entry of hours is prohibited.
  • Hours entered late will have to be entered by the supervisor as a historical correction and will result in delayed pay.
  • After you approve your timecard, it is sent to your supervisor for review and approval.

Paychecks & Direct Deposit

Your paycheck/direct deposit is issued every other Friday according to the bi-weekly schedule, except when issued early due to a college observed holiday.

Paychecks: Paychecks are delivered to your home address on file. To avoid delays in getting paid, we highly recommend enrolling in direct deposit.

Lost Paychecks: There is a five-business-day waiting period during which a stop payment is placed on the lost check before reissuance.

Direct Deposit: You can set up direct deposit via Workday, refer to the Direct Deposit Job Aid for instructions.
